Recently the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Southern Queensland, Professor Geraldine Mackenzie invited the entire ‘Neo-team’ from BAC Technologies to a morning tea on the University campus.

The team was both delighted and honoured to accept her kind invitation and wishes to convey their sincere thanks to Professor Mackenzie for her support and recognition of their work.

The occasion was to not only celebrate that BAC’s Infant Retrieval System was a finalist in the Premier of Queensland’s Export Awards programme, but also that the system was originally invented in the Faculty of Engineering 20 years ago and is now the only system used in all Australian hospitals with Neonatal and Paediatric departments as well as  its exports to Norway and Sweden.
